The U-ONE(-SAFETY) Generation II PROFINET communication modules transmit the position, speed and status data of the monitored shaft to a PLC. They have a PROFINET IO interface.
They can be used for both single-turn and multi-turn applications. The maximum resolution is 13-bit singleturn / 15-bit multiturn.
The following parameters can be programmed in the safety version UO-SPN (certified up to SIL 2 / PL d): counting direction, standstill tolerance, preset value, integration time and the size of the monitoring window.
In the standard version UO-EPN, only the counting direction can be parameterized.
